Testing the product was obviously the first thing on the to-do list. I began by pumping 3-4 squirts of the cleansing oil onto my hands and then worked the oil into my face (hands and face should be dry prior to application). After thoroughly coating my face, I added a few drops of warm water to the mix on my face to allow it to emulsify, at which point the oil became a whitish color. After this, I rinsed my face as directed. My pores and face were free of oil and makeup; this product definitely works well when it comes to removing impurities!

Secondly, I observed over the period of three weeks how well Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil worked at evening my skin tone, with particular focus around my cheeks. After twenty-one applications, the results were moderate but observable. I was able to use less makeup around the cheek area due to there being less of a contrast between the natural colors of my face. While this aspect of the product is definitely a secondary function, it nevertheless did live up to its claims.

There are few complaints when it comes to Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil and the affects it has on the skin. My main concern is that the pH adjusters in the mixture can irritate the skin; many cleansers and lotions contain pH adjusters so it is not a major issue for many beauty aficionados. The price is higher than most average cleansers, but the key difference is that this cleanser uses an array of ingredients to perform multiple aspects at once, so that obviously affects the price.

In essence, the complex rejuvenates the skin from the inside out and reveals healthy, brighter skin with a consistent tone and complexion.

When I tried Obagi C-Clarifying Serum, I was skeptical as to whether it would work or not. I followed a daily regimen of applying 6-8 dots of the serum to the troubled areas of my face, including acne scars and age spots. After just two weeks, there were noticeable changes in the pigmentation of those areas. Nothing I used would seem to absorb… until I tried my Cold Plasma sample. My god, did it smell but I was burn-free and super moist for over 12 hours!!! I love this stuff – I will use this sample VERY sparingly because I can’t currently afford a full size but someday (please please) I will. Too soon to tell if it reduces fine lines, etc., but for moisture and calming alone, I’m hooked!”

“I tried NOT to love this product due to the price tag. I got a sample of it and noticed that within 3 days, my skin was clearer (I have acne), had a better tone, and it had minimized my discoloration. THREE DAYS! I decided to sample some other products just to see what else was out there. However, I got one more sample of Cold Plasma face and I knew that my skin needed it. I will say that this product is probably better for the 20 – 40 age group. It has some great anti-aging ingredients that will help with fine lines, loss of elasticity, discoloration, pore size, etc., but it won’t address the medium to deep wrinkles as well. However, pairing this with an anti-aging product like PTR FirmX would be great for deeper lines. Cold Plasma does make other products you use, 30% more effective because of its patented delivery system. OH! I guess I can’t write a review of Cold Plasma without commenting on the smell. This is not a perfume, but it is not a dead fish either. It does have a fishy smell, so if you have a sensitive nose, stay away. Don’t give this product a bad review because it smelled bad. Seriously, when people are reading reviews they want to know how effective it has been for other people, not if it smelled good. You can always smell something in the store to see if it bothers you.”

“This product, in one week, has fast become my favorite skin care essential. The first thing I noticed was instantly my pores are less visible- not in the way a silicone product masks pores- but they are instantly smaller and barely visible. Perfectly moisturized- this is sort of a fluid texture, not a cream or a serum, somewhere in between and provides the perfect amount of moisture for daytime for me. Sometimes I apply a light moisturizer over it in the evening if I feel I need it (this product is not a moisturizer after all, it is a treatment). Skin is perfectly toned and ready for makeup though I already feel I need to wear much less foundation because pores are refined, I am toned, and smooth, and my skin really gets even- less blotchy, redness is gone, and overall really glows. PS:. It does smell like fishy/seaweed. The face product is much more mild smelling than the eye cream. I do not care, this product delivers and the smell goes away very quickly so no worries. I really do not understand all the fuss over the smell- get over it! It really works! And for those who say they can’t tolerate it- good. More for me.”
